Terms of Service

By accessing or using ShellRick Tech Pty (Ltd)(the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at legal@quizbru.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create quizzes containing illegal, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit content.
• Harass, bully or harm other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts.
• Scrape, crawl or systematically download content.
• Transmit malware, spam or any malicious code.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules, without notice.

You retain ownership of the quiz content you create. By publishing a quiz, you grant ShellRick Tech Pty (Ltd) a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.

Free accounts are limited to 3 quizzes and 20 questions per quiz. These limits may change with reasonable notice.

The Service is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are displayed to free-tier users. You agree not to use ad-blocking software that prevents ads from loading, as this undermines our ability to provide the Service for free.

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by South Africa law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShellRick Tech Pty (Ltd) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
